Memorial Weekend

My holiday weekend is pretty laid back.  Friday I had pain in my lower left abdominal.  Saw the doc and had an ultrasound to rule out what was causing the pain.  Uterus is tilted towards rectum so baby position was putting pressure on lower left side.  Glad to know that it wasn't anything serious. 

Left work early.  Came home and rested a bit and then worked a bit and then met up with Pang, Pang's mom, and Wendy at the Chinese buffet.  I was craving crayfish and the owner made two special plates for us.  Ate most of it and felt sick afterwards.  Not sure if it was old, but it had a funky smell to it.  It didn't taste as good as before.  Could probably blame it on the pregnancy.  hahaha  Anyway, came home and surfed on the net for a bit adn then called it night.  Had to get some sleep before heading out to Lincoln city the next morning. 

Saturday - Woke up at 7:30am.  Showered, dressed and helped booboo dressed.  Jio had not come to pick us up yet so I headed to Best Baguette to grab a couple of Vietnamese sandwich.  Headed to Pang's mom's house and everyone was still getting ready.  Geez louis!  Some people take FOREVER to get ready.  I am guilty but not this time.  I didn't even put make up on or fix my hair.  Just showered and blow dried and go!  lol  Anyway, finally everyone was ready and we headed to the coast.  It seemed like a very long drive but it wasn't that bad because I had Pang's mom to conversate with.  Yes, always nice talking to OG.

Arrived at Lincoln city and headed to the Tanger Outlet mall.  Looked around all the stores to see if they had any maternity clothes but there weren't any.  Not even a Motherhood store.  Tagged along with the others from store to store.  I didn't EVEN buy anything.  NOTHING.  After a couple of hours, I was super hungry.  I headed back to the car and ate my sandwich and then I got tired after I finished the sandwich and slept in the car waiting for the others.  When I woke up from my nap, the others had not come back yet.  Then I went to look for them and they were still shopping.  I felt like eating California sushi rolls so I bought some.  Dang took them forever to make!!  I was getting annoyed.  Finally got them after 40 minutes of waiting.  Ate and eh didn't fill me up or satisfy me.  Then the others called and said they were done shopping so we are going to eat.  We to Thai Jasmine restaurant.  We order lots of food but I only ate a little bit.  The food was ok.  I had better else where.

After we ate, we drove along the coast to do some sightseeing.  Wow, it was beautiful (as usual).  We even stopped by the beach so that the kids can have some fun in the sand and water.  Not so fun cleaning sand off their pants and legs, and feet.  Then we all headed home.  Got back to Pang's mom's house, we hung out and talked for a few hours and Yi and Zee took us home around 11:30pm.  It was a long day.  Glad to hit the sheets.

Sunday - Woke up at 8am and talked to mom for about 40 minutes.  Shared with her the trip to the coast and the docs appt on Friday.  Always a joy to talk with mom.  She's my best friend.  I'm glad to still have her in my life.  I miss her dearly.

Getting ready to finish some work and then will head out to Pang's mom's house to make some goodies and papaya salad.  YUMMY!!!
